We were here as tourists. Excellent home-style cooking, freshly prepared. Friendly and funny service from the owner. Spotlessly clean restrooms. Amazing value for money. What more could you want? Full marks in every category! :-)

We, a group of two, made a spontaneous and unplanned visit to the Schröder restaurant. The decor is simple and rustic, but they clearly place great emphasis on the food. The excellent potato salad with schnitzel and a fried egg was a great choice and highly recommended at the Schröder restaurant. The prices for food and drinks are very reasonable, and the service was friendly and efficient.

Anyone visiting the beautiful town of Zehdenick in northern Brandenburg should definitely check out the Schröder restaurant. It's practically a local institution in the heart of Zehdenick. The restaurant is charmingly rustic and cozy, very child-friendly, and the food is typical German home cooking – delicious and reasonably priced. I've eaten there several times now and have never been disappointed! The staff is very friendly and always has time for a pleasant chat!
